Baseball Recap: Lower Moreland Takes a Loss

Lower Moreland managed to slip by William Tennent the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Lions lost 10-0 to the Panthers on Thursday. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Panthers earlier this season, when they won 6-4.

Lower Moreland saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Blumhardt, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Lower Moreland has also been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season. As for William Tennent, their victory bumped their record up to 6-11.

Lower Moreland has already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Cheltenham on the 6th. As for William Tennent, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Springfield Township on the 5th.
