Pueblo East proved they can win big last Saturday (they won by nine) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a run and slipped past the Pueblo South Colts 2-1. This was a revenge game for the Eagles: when they faced off against the Colts back in April, they had to take a 7-4 loss.

Pueblo East's victory was truly a team effort as four different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was COLTER BORGSTEDT, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one run and one RBI. Those two hits gave BORGSTEDT a new career-high.

The win got Pueblo East back to even at 11-11. As for Pueblo South, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 14-8.

Pueblo East has already played their next match, a 6-5 victory against Pueblo Central on the 10th. As for Pueblo South, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Pueblo Centennial on the 10th.
