Volleyball Recap: Mauldin Comes Up Short

Mauldin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Nation Ford Falcons.

Mauldin's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Nation Ford, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Coming up, Mauldin will take on Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Nation Ford, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Catawba Ridge on the 23rd.
