Waterloo had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They walked away with a 7-2 victory over the Edwardsville Tigers. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 4-1 win the Tigers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

Waterloo's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 24-10. The road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Edwardsville, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-10.
