Baseball Recap: Starmount Comes Up Short

Starmount came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the North Stokes Vikings, falling 10-0. The game marked the first time this season in which the Rams were not able to get on the board.

Starmount's loss dropped their record down to 4-4. As for North Stokes, the win was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-2.

Coming up, Starmount will look to defend their home field on Friday against North Stokes at 6:30 p.m. As for North Stokes, they are taking a road trip to challenge Thomasville at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Thomasville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.2 runs per game this season.
