Michael Molina posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Friday. He struck out 16 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and only one walk). Chaparral is undefeated when Molina posts ten or more strikeouts, but 10-11 otherwise.

Molina's strong effort led Chaparral over Silver and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
