Volleyball Recap: Addison Takes a Loss

Addison lost against Winston County on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bulldogs took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Yellowjackets.

Ava Bartlett paced Addison's offense, picking up three kills. Bartlett got some help from Annabeth Powell and her seven assists. Bartlett was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Addison's defeat dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Winston County, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-9.

Addison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Russellville on the 27th. As for Winston County, they will venture away from home to face off against Haleyville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
