Softball Recap: St. Francis Spartans vs. Aurora Central Catholic Chargers
St. Francis lost against Aurora Central Catholic back in April of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The St. Francis Spartans fell just short of the Aurora Central Catholic Chargers by a score of 5-4. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest runs St. Francis has scored all season.
For Aurora Central Catholic's part, Charlotte Brummel was excellent, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

St. Francis will be playing in front of their home fans against Wheaton Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Aurora Central Catholic, they will head out on the road to face off against IC Catholic Prep at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
