Volleyball Recap: Kiera Smith Leads a Balanced Effort to Beat North Star

Forest Hills lost to North Star back in October of 2019, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Rangers came out on top against the Cougars by a score of 2-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rangers.

Forest Hills' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kiera Smith, who had 20 assists. Those 20 assists gave Smith a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adalynne Webb, who had six kills, three digs, and one block.

Forest Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for North Star, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.

Forest Hills didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against River Valley on the 23rd. As for North Star, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Cambria Heights on the 23rd.
