Football Recap: Fox Creek's Undefeated Season over After Six Games

After flying high against Williston-Elko last Friday, Fox Creek came back down to earth. The Predators took a 21-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Orangeburg-Wilkinson Bruins on Friday. The matchup marked the Predators' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

When it comes to explaining why Fox Creek lost, don't look at Bryson Crawford. Despite the final result, he rushed for 59 yards and two touchdowns. Crawford is crushing it when it comes to rushing touchdowns: he's punched in at least two every time he's taken the field this season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Fox Creek fell to 5-1. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to a perfect 6-0.

Fox Creek didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 41-14 loss against Newberry on the 10th. As for Orangeburg-Wilkinson, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, an 18-12 win against Hanahan on the 10th.
