Football Recap: Arrowhead Warhawks vs. Marquette University Hilltoppers
Arrowhead took care of business in their home opener on Friday. They took down the Marquette University Hilltoppers 47-28. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Warhawks also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2023.
Vance Holtz went supernova for Arrowhead, rushing for 36 yards and three touchdowns, while also throwing for 214 yards and three touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Jacob Siner was another key player, rushing for 128 yards on only 12 carries.
Siner wasn't the only one working in the rushing yards department: Arrowhead was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 285 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 202 rushing yards in four consecutive contests dating back to last season.
Arrowhead will take on Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Marquette University, they will welcome Fond du Lac at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
