Softball Preview: Tahquitz Titans vs. Heritage Patriots
The Tahquitz Titans will venture away from home to square off against the Heritage Patriots at 3:15 p.m. on Monday. The two teams are out to turn their luck around after having lost tight contests in their previous games.
Tahquitz blew San Jacinto out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Friday San Jacinto got their revenge. The Titans fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 8-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Titans have suffered since March 18th.
Lillian Phelps spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and six unearned) runs on seven hits and racked up six Ks.
