Baseball Recap: Dublin Jerome Comes Up Short

Dublin Jerome was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Hayes Pacers. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Celtics of the 6-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2019.

Dublin Jerome's loss dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Hayes, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 7-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dublin Jerome will take on Thomas Worthington at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The CARDINALS will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something the Celtics surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hayes, they will square off against Westerville South at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
