Baseball Recap: Kenyon-Wanamingo Comes Up Short

Kenyon-Wanamingo was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms, falling 15-5. The Knights were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Awesome Blossoms apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2024.

Kenyon-Wanamingo's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Blooming Prairie, the win keeps they at an undefeated 5-0.

Kenyon-Wanamingo has already played their next matchup (against St. Paul Academy-Summit), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Blooming Prairie, they are taking a road trip to take on Medford at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 12.25 runs per game on average), something the Awesome Blossoms will no doubt try to take advantage of.
