Baseball Recap: Lancaster County Christian Lions vs. West Shore Christian Academy

Lancaster County Christian won the last time they faced West Shore Christian Academy, and things went their way on Friday too. The Lancaster County Christian Lions sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 6-4 win over West Shore Christian Academy.

Chase Zimmerman was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over 6.2 innings while giving up three earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits. Zimmerman was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now stolen at least one in the last eight games he's played.
