Recap: McDonell Central Macks vs. Cadott Hornets
In what's become a running theme this season, the McDonell Central Macks gave their fans yet another huge victory on Friday. They breezed by Cadott on the road to the tune of 73-31. Given McDonell Central's advantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 14th, while Cadott is ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Despite the loss, Cadott saw an underclassman step up: Kennedy Nerdrum scored 11 points along with six rebounds and two steals.
The victory (which was McDonell Central's third in a row) raised their record to 18-1. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 38 points. As for Cadott, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-9.
McDonell Central will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Columbus Catholic at 7:15 p.m. Columbus Catholic is coming into the game on a five-game losing streak. As for Cadott, they will head out on the road to take on Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
