Basketball Game Preview: Shannon Red Raiders vs. Mosley Dolphins

The Shannon Red Raiders and the Mosley Dolphins will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Shannon will be strutting in after a win while Mosley will be coming in after a loss.

Shannon saw some tournament action on Friday. They pulled ahead with a 66-65 photo finish over Munroe. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Red Raiders.

Meanwhile, Mosley came up short against Hewitt-Trussville on Friday, falling 68-44. While losing is never fun, the Dolphins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 139th in Florida, while the Huskies are ranked eighth in Alabama).

This is the second loss in a row for Mosley and nudges their season record down to 6-5. As for Shannon, their victory bumped their record up to 6-8.
