Recap: Navarre Raiders vs. Tate Aggies

After a string of five wins, the Navarre Raiders's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 75-64 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tate. Navarre has not had much luck with Tate recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Navarre's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Darius Cunningham, who dropped a double-double on 24 points and 12 rebounds, and Jonah Forrest who scored 16 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That was a full 37.5% of Navarre's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. David Clearman was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with seven rebounds.

Navarre's defeat ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-8. As for Tate, they pushed their record up to 12-5 with that win, which was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Navarre will take on Choctawhatchee at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Tate, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Milton at 7:30 p.m. on January 18th. Milton will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
