Baseball Recap: Delta's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Delta came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 7-1 to the University Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 10-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Delta saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jhett Ryan, who went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases. Those two hits gave Ryan a new career-high.

Having lost for the first time this season, Delta fell to 2-1. As for University, the victory got them back to even at 2-2.

Delta didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, an 11-0 defeat against Falcon on the 21st. As for University, they have also already played their next contest, a 4-3 win against Coal Ridge on the 22nd.
