Baseball Recap: Montgomery Catholic Takes a Loss

Montgomery Catholic lost against Trinity Presbyterian on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 4-3. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jordan Jackson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered only one earned (and three unearned) runs on six hits.

At the plate, Kam Miller made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Montgomery Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13-1. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season.

Montgomery Catholic will be playing at home against Saint James at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Trinity Presbyterian, they will head out on the road to challenge Chilton County at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
