Softball Recap: Fleming Takes a Loss

Fleming lost against Northside back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Colonels came up short against the Vikings, falling 17-3. The Colonels' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Fleming's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Northside, with the victory, they broke their seven-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-7.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fleming will venture away from home to face off against Lord Botetourt at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Northside, they will head out to square off against Salem at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
