Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Macon-East Montgomery Academy). They walked away with a 67-60 win over the Chambers Academy Rebels on Thursday. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Knights considering their 23-point performance the contest before.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamiyah Powell led the charge by dropping a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. That makes it five consecutive games in which Powell has scored at least a third of Macon-East Montgomery Academy's points. Miya Tatum was another key player, going 6 for 10 en route to 16 points along with eight boards and six steals.

Macon-East Montgomery Academy has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 10-7 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 50.3 points per game.
