New Covenant fought the good fight in their overtime game against The Covenant on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They took a 64-59 hit to the loss column at the hands of The Covenant Eagles. The Gryphons were up 22-8 in the first quarter but couldn't hold on to the lead.
