Volleyball Recap: Analy Extends Home Winning Streak to Ten

Analy won the last time they faced Sonoma Valley and things went their way on Thursday too. Analy blew past Sonoma Valley 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

One reason for the win was Analy's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19, 25-13.

Jose Zapien Gomez was the offensive standout of the game as he had ten digs and one assist.

Analy was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 13 aces. That's the most aces they've posted since back in April of 2024.

Analy's victory was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3. As for Sonoma Valley, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.

Analy has already played their next match (against Vacaville Christian), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Sonoma Valley, they will square off against American Canyon at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
