Softball Recap: Telstar Takes a Loss

Monday just wasn't the day for Telstar's offense. They lost 20-0 to the Valley Cavaliers on Monday. Having soared to a lofty 18 runs in the game before, the Rebels' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Telstar's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Valley, their win bumped their record up to 4-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Telstar will host Sacopee Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The Rebels are facing the Hawks at the right time seeing as the Hawks are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Valley, they will be playing at home against Greenville at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Lakers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 13.57 runs per game on average), something the Cavaliers will no doubt try to take advantage of.
