Baseball Recap: Ranchview Takes a Loss

Ranchview's last matchup with Lake Dallas could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Saturday. Ranchview came up short against Lake Dallas, falling 14-4. The Wolves' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it four in a row.

Ranchview saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zane Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave Gonzalez a new career-high. Jason Samuel was another, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Ranchview's loss dropped their record down to 5-8-1. As for Lake Dallas, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-8.
