The Clint Lions will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against the Canyon Eagles at 2:00 p.m. on February 16th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Meanwhile, Canyon entered their tilt with Fort Stockton with eight consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with nine. Canyon blew past Fort Stockton, posting a 75-11 win on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest win Canyon has managed all season.
Clint's victory bumped their record up to 17-12. As for Canyon, they are on a roll lately: they've won 14 of their last 16 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.
Clint was dealt a bruising 73-27 defeat at the hands of Canyon when the teams last played back in February of 2023. That matchup was all but decided by halftime, at which point Clint was down 39-11.
