Softball Recap: Shannon Takes a Loss

Shannon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 18-0 to the Ripley Tigers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 15-0 back in March.

Shannon's loss dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Ripley, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Shannon will take on Tremont at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Ripley, they will venture away from home to take on Myrtle at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
