Volleyball Preview: Malad Dragons vs. Grace Grizzlies
After both having extra time off, the Malad Dragons and the Grace Grizzlies will dust off their jerseys to take on one another at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Malad will be looking to keep their 15-game home win streak dating back to last season alive.
Last Thursday, everything went Malad's way against West Side as Malad made off with a 3-0 win.
Malad never let West Side on the board, but things got pretty close in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-22, 25-9.
Meanwhile, Grace was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against Bear Lake, falling 3-0.
While Grace had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least seven points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-18, 25-7, 25-7.
Malad has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. As for Grace, their loss dropped their record down to 3-9.
