Basketball Recap: South Park Takes a Loss

South Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were beaten by the Woodland Park Panthers 76-8. The match marked the Burros' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

South Park's record now sits at 1-5. As for Woodland Park, their victory ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-4.

South Park will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Clear Creek at 5:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025. Woodland Park has already played their next game, a 48-43 defeat against Platte Valley on the 21st.
