Soccer Recap: Burlington Christian Academy Starts Season with Loss at Home

Burlington Christian Academy unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Clover Garden School Grizzlies on Tuesday. The matchup was a 3-3 toss-up at halftime, but Burlington Christian Academy couldn't quite close it out.

Gracen Tice and Jake Hethcox scored all three of Burlington Christian Academy's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Clover Garden School has started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Burlington Christian Academy will square off against Vandalia Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Clover Garden School, they will take on Cornerstone Charter at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
