Volleyball Game Preview: iMater Charter Knights vs. Immaculata-La Salle Royal Lions

IMater Charter hasn't had much luck against Immaculata-La Salle recently, but that could start to change on Monday. The Knights are taking a road trip to challenge the Royal Lions at 5:00 p.m.

Last Wednesday, iMater Charter came up short against Mater Academy Charter and fell 3-1.

Immaculata-La Salle not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 20th. They put the hurt on Downtown Doral with a sharp 3-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Royal Lions in their matchups with the Dolphins: they've now won four in a row.

Immaculata-La Salle not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Downtown Doral between 17 and 18 points across their sets. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 25-17, 25-18.

IMater Charter now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Immaculata-La Salle, their victory bumped their record up to 10-6.

IMater Charter might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Immaculata-La Salle when the teams last played back in March. Can the Knights avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
