Baseball Recap: Arkansas Takes a Loss

Arkansas managed to slip by Lake Hamilton the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Razorbacks lost 9-1 to the Wolves on Tuesday. The Razorbacks were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Wolves earlier this season, when they won 5-4.

Arkansas dropped their record down to 8-6 with the loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for Lake Hamilton, the victory (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-2.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Arkansas is set to square off against their familiar foe El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Lake Hamilton will take on rival Sheridan at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wolves 2.2, the Yellowjackets 2.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
