Fillmore Central's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ali Nichols, who scored ten points along with nine rebounds and two steals. That's the first time this season that Nichols pulled down eight or more rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaili Head, who scored 11 points.
Fillmore Central's loss was their fourth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-12. As for Tri County, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.
