            Baseball Recap: Williams Field Black Hawks vs. Queen Creek Bulldogs        
        
		
        
        
            Williams Field extended their losing streak  to three  on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 14-8 in the process. They fell  10-5 to the Queen Creek Bulldogs. That's two games in a row now that the Black Hawks have lost by  exactly five  runs.
  Jaxson Triggs and  Asher Landry did some serious damage despite the final result:  Triggs  went 3-for-4 with two  runs and one  stolen base, while  Landry  went 2-for-3 with one  stolen base and one  run. Another player making a difference was  Silas Stephens, who  got on base  in two of his four plate appearances with two  stolen bases and one  run.
As for Queen Creek, the  win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 15-6. Ten seems to be a good number for they as the  team scooped up a  victory with the same number of  runs in their previous game.
On Queen Creek's side,  Cody Cooper looked comfortable as he  pitched three innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Cooper has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't  given up  more than two  hits in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Queen Creek let  Jordan Ransom and  Jet Berry run wild. Ransom  went 3-for-4 with three  RBI, two  runs,  and two  doubles, while  Berry  went 3-for-4 with one  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. Those  three  RBI gave  Ransom a new career-high.  Alex Gamboa also deserves some recognition as  he  launched his first  home run of the season.
 Williams Field and Queen Creek should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage  in the MaxPreps Arizona Rankings. The Black Hawks will  face off against  Skyline  at 12:00  p.m.  on Saturday with a big rank  advantage  (24 vs. 90). Meanwhile,  Queen Creek (ranked ninth) will meet Desert Ridge (ranked 87th)  at 3:45  p.m.  on Tuesday.
