Basketball Recap: Averill Park Takes a Loss

Averill Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 57-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Saratoga Springs Blue Streaks. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 63-47 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Averill Park's loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Saratoga Springs, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-5.

Averill Park will welcome Columbia at 7:00 p.m. on January 17th. Saratoga Springs has already played their next match, a 65-37 victory against Mohonasen on the 11th.
