Arcadia had to skate by with only a two-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the 11-run drubbing they dealt Northampton on Monday. The Firebirds never let the Yellowjackets get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Firebirds, who have now won seven matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Arcadia pushed their record up to 11-8 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.5 runs on average over those games. As for Northampton, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-14.

As of now, neither Arcadia nor the Yellowjackets have any future games scheduled.
