Basketball Recap: Thornapple Kellogg Takes a Loss

Thornapple Kellogg lost against Northview back in December of 2021 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Thornapple Kellogg Trojans came up short against the Northview Wildcats, falling 59-38. While losing is never fun, the Trojans can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 224th, while the Wildcats are ranked 32nd).

This is the second loss in a row for Thornapple Kellogg and nudges their season record down to 6-4. As for Northview, their win was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

Thornapple Kellogg will welcome Wayland at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Northview has already played their next matchup, a 62-58 victory against Lincoln on the 11th.
