Volleyball Recap: New Lisbon Takes a Loss

New Lisbon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Bangor Cardinals. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cardinals this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in September.

New Lisbon was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Bangor work for it, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 27-25, 25-22.

Brooklyn Lowe paced New Lisbon's offense, picking up 11 kills. Lowe got some help from Heidi Mathes and her 12 assists.

New Lisbon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-19. As for Bangor, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-16.

New Lisbon has already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Necedah on the 14th. As for Bangor, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Adams-Friendship on the 11th.
