Basketball Recap: Kenmare/Bowbells Takes a Loss

Kenmare/Bowbells was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a blow against the Velva Aggies, falling 98-64. While losing is never fun, Kenmare/Bowbells can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Dakota basketball rankings (they are ranked 86th, while Velva is ranked 20th).

Kenmare/Bowbells' loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Velva, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 16-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Kenmare/Bowbells will square off against Alexander at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Velva, they will face off against Drake/Anamoose at 7:15 p.m. on February 17th.
