Basketball Recap: Seymour Comes Up Short

Seymour was the 59-23 winner over Barry Western when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Indians were just a bucket shy of victory on Friday and fell 75-74 to the Wildcats. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game on Tuesday (62), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Seymour now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Barry Western, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Coming up, Seymour won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Riverton at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Barry Western, they will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on West Central co-op [Winchester-Bluffs] at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
