Football Recap: Clayton Valley Charter Runs Past Campolindo + How To Watch

Clayton Valley Charter had won three straight on the road, but on Friday they bumped up to 5-3 to make it four. They secured a 21-16 W over the Campolindo Cougars. That's more bragging rights for the Ugly Eagles, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Jhadis Luckey continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 181 yards and one TD. Luckey is crushing it when it comes to rushing yards: he's rushed for at least 116 every time he's taken the field this season.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Clayton Valley Charter was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 246 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 246 rushing yards in three consecutive games.

As for Campolindo, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-2. Admittedly, the team was facing some tough opposition over that stretch, including 8-0 Acalanes (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 81.3% over those games).

When it comes to explaining why Campolindo lost, don't look at Micah Parker. Despite the final result, he rushed for 141 yards on only 15 carries.
