Baseball Recap: Auburn Comes Up Short

Auburn was the 6-5 winner over Rochester when they last played one another back in May of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Trojans took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets on Monday.

Auburn's defeat dropped their record down to 12-11. As for Rochester, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 19-7.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Auburn will square off against Pawnee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Rochester, they will face off against Springfield at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing is sure in the Rockets' favor as the squad sits on four straight wins at home while the Senators have been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
