Baseball Recap: Tussey Mountain's Undefeated Season over After Four Games

After flying high against Southern Huntingdon County last Tuesday, Tussey Mountain came back down to earth. Tussey Mountain fell just short of the Rockwood Rockets by a score of 11-10 on Thursday. The loss was the Titans' first of the season.

Wyatt Clark made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in two of his four plate appearances. That stolen base marked the first that he snagged this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Austin Lashinsky, who scored a run while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Tussey Mountain fell to 3-1. As for Rockwood, the win made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Tussey Mountain will take on Southern Fulton at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Tussey Mountain's pitchers better be ready for this one: Southern Fulton has averaged an impressive 11.5 runs per game this season. As for Rockwood, they will square off against Shanksville Stonycreek at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
