Football Recap: Yukon Millers vs. Owasso Rams
Yukon and Owasso squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Yukon had to settle for second. They were dealt a 45-7 defeat at the hands of the Rams. The Millers haven't had much luck with the Rams recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.
Wyatt Jones threw for 148 yards on 15 of 33 attempts. Daniel Yebit was his top target, picking up 46 receiving yards.
Jayden Hall continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Owasso, rushing for 177 yards and a pair of scores on only 13 carries. Hall's rushing production has been exceptional for a while as that marked his 12th straight game with at least 101 rushing yards dating back to last season. Owasso also got help from Julius Wilson, who showed off his sure hands for 140 receiving yards.
Yukon's loss dropped their record down to 6-6. As for Owasso, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.
Yukon does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Owasso, they have already played their next game, a 39-36 victory against Jenks on the 28th.
