Volleyball Recap: Westland Starts Season with Loss at Home

Westland unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Chillicothe Cavaliers on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-15, 25-13.

The victory was the third in a row for Chillicothe, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Westland does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Chillicothe, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Westfall at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Cavaliers are facing the Mustangs at the right time seeing as the Mustangs are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
