Pius X scaled the state rankings by moving to 260 from 365 this week, the biggest jump in All-American. The Royals were able to move up by defeating Towanda 34-7.
Carson Long Military Academy lost to Milton 56-7 last week, the largest margin of any game. Josh Kingsborough was a bright spot for the Warriors, as he threw for 78 yards and ran for 28 yards in the defeat.
Pius X's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Nick Brotzman threw for 206 and 2 touchdowns and Eric "E-Bo" Marbury had 64 yards receiving. On the ground Dashon Russell contributed 94 yards. Russell helped Pius X's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 67 yards.
He was 15-17 with 0 interception.
Marbury was the best wideout in the league this week as Philip Stambaugh's team bested the Knights. Marbury racked up 5 receptions for 64 yards. Russell helped Pius X's passing attack out by catching 5 balls for 67 yards.
Pius X's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Royals feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Tre Jordan has thrown for 708 yards and 9 touchdowns this season, while Marbury has 19 catches for 307 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Columbia Montour Vo-Tech takes on Nativity BVM. At the moment, the Rams are in fifth, while Nativity BVM is in third.
Nativity BVM made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,026 from 13,290. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 26-6 victory over Perkiomen last week.
