Basketball Recap: Mission Valley Comes Up Short

Mission Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-43 heartbreaker at the hands of the Madison Bulldogs. The Vikings were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Mission Valley's loss dropped their record down to 8-6. As for Madison, they now have a winning record of 7-6.

Mission Valley is taking a road trip to take on Cair Paravel at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Madison, they will be playing at home against Crest on Friday. Crest will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something Madison surely won't give up without a fight.
