Softball Recap: Salisbury Hornets vs. Robinson Bulldogs

Salisbury couldn't quite beat Robinson on Thursday but the two-point margin was a huge improvement compared to the ten-point loss they were dealt on Wednesday. The Salisbury Hornets fell just short of the Robinson Bulldogs by a score of 4-2. Salisbury has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Katie Peeler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four runs (all of which were unearned) on four hits and racked up seven Ks.

On the hitting side, Salisbury saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tijah Sims, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Salisbury's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9. As for Robinson, their victory bumped their record up to 7-12.
