Basketball Recap: A.C. Flora Takes a Loss

A.C. Flora was the 49-47 winner over South Pointe when they last played one another back in February of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. The A.C. Flora Falcons took a 50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of the South Pointe Stallions on Friday. The Falcons have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Ry'Darius Hill continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for South Pointe, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 14 rebounds. Hill is on a roll when it comes to boards, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last four games he's played. Treven Raymon was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 11 boards.

A.C. Flora now has a losing record at 6-7. As for South Pointe, they pushed their record up to 9-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

A.C. Flora wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 66-49 victory against York on the 6th. As for South Pointe, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 69-61 win against Camden on the 8th.
